Plot
When popstar Rachel Marron receives threats from an unknown stalker, ex secret service agent and now bodyguard Frank Farmer comes to the rescue. Tightening security and assuming his role as her bodyguard, Rachel becomes increasingly angry at how protective he is. However, once they become closer, her anger slowly develops into passion… or perhaps love?

In Birmingham, the most expensive tickets are £75. The theatre is divided into the Grand Upper Circle, the Dress Circle and the Stalls.
The Stalls: the area closest to the stage, The Stalls has some of the best seats in the house. Slightly cheaper seats can be found towards the back of theStalls where viewing is not quite as good.
The Dress Circle:as the area located just above The Stalls, The Dress Circle has some excellent seats with amazing views of the stage.
The Grand Upper Circle: as the highest seats in the theatre and furthest from the stage, The Grand Upper Circle is located just above the Dress Circle and some of the cheaper tickets can be found here; especially the seats at the side of the theatre which have a slightly restricted view.

If you are travelling by car, the nearest car park is NCP New Street Car Park (B5 4AN) which offers a pre-paid parking voucher for theatre patrons. You can also use the Mailbox secure car park (B1 1RD), which is a 5 minute walk from the theatre
Train
If you are travelling by train, Birmingham New Street Station and Grand Central are extremely close to the Alexandra. There are trains running from cities all over the UK to Birmingham New Street.

Access
There is a designated Access Ambassador for each show at the Alexandra in Birmingham who is on hand to help patrons throughout their visit. If you need to contact them, please ask a front of house staff.

Accessing the venue
For wheelchair users, there are eight available wheelchair spaces in the stalls. You can access the Stalls via the easy access entrance on Station Street, which is located next to the stage door. There is an intercom and a member of staff can meet you there
There is no lift access in the Alexandra; the Dress Circle, Grand Upper Circle and the Ambassador Lounge is via stairs only.
Induction Loop Necklace
The induction Loop Necklace is for visitors using a hearing aid. Whilst wearing the necklace around your neck, switch your hearing aid to the T setting and the sound volume will be amplified . You can adjust the volume on the necklace using a volume control.
The Headset
An option which does not require a hearing aid is the headset which is similar to regular headphones.
There is an infrared system operating in the theatre - please ask a member for receiving equipment on the day of the show, who will contact the Access Ambassador. Please return this equipment after the show to a member of your Front of House staff.
Guide Dogs
Guide, hearing and other dogs are welcome into all parts of the theatre however please consider that some shows include strobe lighting, smoke, pyrotechnics and loud bangs. We can also organise for a member of staff to care for your dog during the performance- please speak to the box office about your requirements when booking your tickets.
Access toilets
There are accessible toilets on the ground floor of stalls. These are separate, fully accessible, private, unisex facilities and can be found next ot the easy access entrance door

Car
There are two car parks located close to the theatre: Oxford Street and Manchester Palace. Please bring your car park ticket to the theatre cloakroom for discounts.
Train
The Oxford Road train station is located opposite the train station. Piccadilly train station is also relatively near; only 0.3 miles from the theatre. These train stations include national trains from many other UK cities.
Bus
The Palace Theatre in Manchester is on all of the major bus routes given that it is situated on Oxford Road/Street.

Access to venue
The entrance of box office of the Palace Theatre is on street level and has a low level counter. For wheelchair users, there are four wheelchair spaces located on row R of the circle. The circle can be accessed by lift from the foyer level. The circle, and particularly the rear, is the recommended area of the theatre for patrons. You can access the stalls but it is down 15 steps and has no lift access.
The Palace Theatre has a new technology called Sennheiser. This technology feeds the live sound of the theatre’s productions through an access point in the theatre. You can stream sound through the mobile connect app whilst using the Wi-Fi available in the Theatre. If you wish to use this service, please make sure to arrive 45 minutes before the show and ensure the team can assist you.
There is also a dual channel infra-red sound enhancement system available at the Palace Theatre. You can use one of the theatre’s headsets or one worn around the neck to boost the volume of the show. These can be collected from the theatre cloakroom for a 10 pound returnable deposit. For the best experience using this system, we recommend that you avoid the rear stalls when booking seats.
Guide Dogs and Hearing Dogs
Any Guide dogs and hearing dogs are welcome inside the auditorium with you at the Palace Theatre. Please tell the Box office when booking your ticket if you wish to bring a guide or hearing dog to the Theatre; a seat next to the aisle can be reserved for you.
