Description

Following an extremely successful run at the Donmar Warehouse, the City of Angels, which has won 6 Tony Awards and 3 Oliviers, is set to take the West End by storm. Showing at London’s Garrick Theatre for a long run from the 5th March- 5th September 2020, the City of Angels is a spellbinding, must-see revival!

Directed by Josie Rourke, The City of Angels West End production will star Rosalie Craig, Nicola Roberts, Hadley Fraser and Vanessa Williams, who is known for her role in Ugly Betty. With a mermersing musical score by Cy Coleman, lyrics by David Zippel and a hilarious book by Larry Gelbart, the City of Angels will transport you to the glamorous world of Hollywood during the film noir period. Given that tickets are expected to be in extremely high demand, grab them fast in order to avoid disappointment!

The City of Angels Tickets

The City of Angels tickets start at £23 and are as expensive as £102, depending on where you choose to sit in the auditorium. The Garrick Theatre has a capacity of 732 seats and is divided across three levels: the Grand Circle, the Dress Circle and the Stalls.

If you are looking for expensive tickets which will give you the best views of the stage, these can be found in the mid- centre of the Stalls where you will be at the centre of the action. There are also excellent seats at the front of the Dress Circle.

Cheap Tickets and Discounts

The Cheapest tickets in the Garrick Theatre can be found at the back of the Grand Circle, since this is the section of the theatre furthest away from the stage and has some restricted viewing. You can also find discounted tickets to the rear of he stalls and to the sides of any row throughout the theatre.

Getting There


Situated in the centre of theatreland, the Garrick Theatre is easily accessible by public transport and can also be reached by car. The Garrick Theatre address is:

Garrick Theatre, 2 Charing Cross Road, London, WC2H 0HH

Tube: the nearest tube station is Leicester Square (Northern, Piccadilly). You can also easily access Charing Cross (Northern, Bakerloo) and Embankment ((District, Circle)

Train: Charing Cross Station is a 5 minute walk away

Bus: bus routes 3, 6, 9, 11, 12, 23, 24, 87, 88, 91, 139 and 453 stop at Trafalgar square which is a 10 minute walk away from the theatre.

Car: the Garrick theatre is part of the Q-Park scheme so you can enjoy 50% off parking. The nearest car parks are Trafalgar Square and Chinatown. Please be aware that the Garrick Theatre is inside the London Congestion Charge Zone.

Getting into the theatre

The main entrance of the theatre on Garrick Street is accessible via 2 steps up from street level. There is also step free access through an alternative entrance, which is to the left of the main entrance and a portable ramp can be placed here. This entrance leads you directly to Row E in the Dress Circle.

Inside the Theatre

The most accessible area of the theatre is in Dress Circle, where there are 2 wheelchair spacers and transfers are available. We advise you to bring a companion if you are planning on a transfer.

There is no customer lift so the other sections of the theatre are not suitable for customers with limited mobility.

Staff are on hand to help you navigate the theatre and provide an at-seat service for customers who cannot access the bars.
