There are not any car parks at the venue itself, but there are reserved bays around the venue such as two blue badge bays which are situated on Fenkle Street, where there is a car park.
The O2 Academy Newcastle has one concessionary companion ticket available per customer, so that you can be assisted throughout your visit. However, you must prove your eligibility for this ticket.

Opening its doors on the 14th October 2005, the venue was originally called the Carling Academy until the Academy Music Group changed its sponsorship and it was rebranded the O2 Academy Newcastle in 2008. Prior to this, the venue was a Picture House when it first opened in 1927 and then from 1959 it was a Gala Bingo Hall. The Academy Music Group took an interest in the site in 2004 and since then, it has been hosting world class live entertainment and a range of legendary shows from different artists.
Facilities
There are several bars in the O2 Academy Newcastle, as well as a cloakroom. However, please bear in mind that space in the cloakroom is limited, so try not to bring too many things.
