When Ava, a Londoner in her twenties, finds out about the death of her estranged father, she decides to go to Iran and explore a country that is part of her heritage. Meeting her extended family and also enjoying a fast-paced life of parties, love and raids, Ava ends up learning about the different layers of her parent’s country she didn't know existed...

Artistic Director of the Theatre Royal Stratford East and the former Associate Director of the National Theatre, Nadia Falls has also directed Disgraced in 2013 and was associated editor of the critically acclaimed production of the Curious Incident and the Dog in the Nighttime.
