A classic, Welsh old-school rock band, Phil Campbell and the Bastard Sons are led by motorhead guitarist Phil Campbell alongside former Attack! Attack! Vocalist Neil Starr and three of his actual sons guitarist Todd, bassist Tyla, and drummer Dane. Although their style is still rooted in the old-school rock genre, its new material is more versatile.
Following the death of Motorhead frontman Lemmy in 2015, Campbell started recording solo albums and recording with a variety of guest artists such as Rob Halford, Joe Satriani, and Slipknot percussionist Chris Fehn. They released the self-titled album in 2016 and their debut full-length the Age Of Absurdity in 2018 on Nuclear Blast.
Having supported the likes of Hawkind, Guns ‘N’ Roses and Airbourne, Phil Campbell and the Bastard Sons have made a name for themselves in the old-school rock world. In Autumn 2021, Phil Campbell and the Bastard Sons have announced a UK tour!
