Manchester-based comedian Mike Newall has been making audiences laugh their heads off since the early noughties and is renowned for his sharp, often hilariously surreal jokes and dry, observational sense of humour!
Originally from Stockport which is, as Mike Newall often points out, classed as Greater Manchester, Mike Newall performed his first gig in 2002 and then set up his own comedy night ‘i night at the ‘Coach and Four Pub’ in Wilmslow. Mike Newall made his first appearance at the Edinburgh Fringe Show, 'Mr Famous’ to great acclaim.
Since then, Mike Newall has returned to the Fringe several times as well as headlining the ‘Big Value Comedy’ early show, then he returned with his show 'Six Weddings' in 2013. More recently, Newall has also appeared on Britain’s Got Talent, where he even impressed Simon Cowell with his well crafted jokes!
